kind words from clients

My boyfriend surprised me with a delightful photoshoot by Bozphoto & Styles at the enchanting Lake Kawaguchi.

The photographer was not only exceptionally talented, but also had an incredible personality, making the entire experience enjoyable and memorable. Throughout our one-hour session, he skillfully directed us, ensuring every moment was captured beautifully. I highly recommend their services!

What we do for your Proposal

Planning chat

We chat over a WhatApp to go over your idea and location options in details.

Local recommendations

Based on the season and your preferences—whether you like nature, temples, cityscapes, or quiet hidden spots—I’ll provide you with a list of ideal locations. Some places, like shrines, have local rules, etiquette, or specific times when they’re crowded. I’ll also offer advice and suggestions to help you plan around those details.

Two styles, One big moment

I offer two ways to photograph your proposal:

1. The Couple Shoot Disguise

Start with a “regular” couple session, then propose mid-shoot. Perfect lighting, perfect angle, perfect surprise.

2. Total Surprise

I hide in the background and capture the moment secretly. After the big “yes,” I reveal ourselves and start a celebratory photo session.

One your special Day

If you prefer a total surprise, I usually arrive about 30 minutes early to make sure the location is in good condition.

You never know what might happen—sudden rain, unexpected crowds, or the planned spot being unavailable.
In those cases, I’ll send you a quick message and suggest backup options or small changes to the plan as needed.

Enjoy the moment together

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can you photograph the proposal without my partner noticing?

Yes, absolutely. I will be at the location before you arrive and blend in like a regular passerby or tourist.

We will plan everything in advance by message or video call, including where you stand and what I will do, so your partner will not suspect anything.
You only need to focus on the moment and I will quietly capture the reaction and emotions.

Will you keep the proposal and our communication secret?

Yes. I know how important the surprise is.

I keep all messages and details private and will never contact your partner directly.
If you prefer, we can use your preferred app (WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.) and avoid words like “proposal photos” in notifications.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance to allow time for detailed planning.

We need to discuss the location, timing, how to coordinate the surprise, and prepare backup plans together. For popular seasons (cherry blossom, autumn) or holidays, please book earlier.

What happens after the proposal?

After the proposal moment, we continue with a short engagement session nearby.

I'll photograph the ring, your celebration together, and natural couple portraits. If family or friends are present, group photos are also included.

Do you provide transportation if outside of Tokyo?

Yes.  In case we visit Mt. Fuji area or any place accessible by my car, I can pick you up or take you to a second destination.

In case of Kyoto or some place further, we will discuss about the transportation method.

What if there is an issue with the weather?

If the weather is unsafe or very bad, we can reschedule to another date at no extra charge.

For light rain, we have backup indoor locations or covered spots nearby. We will monitor the forecast together and make the best decision for your moment.
